Imagine you’re a medieval archer, and the outcome of the battle depends upon your skill. The tension of the bow-string, the wind direction, your aim, the shot… A hit or a miss. Victory or defeat.
While you’re visiting the Kulikovo Field Museum-Reserve, why not try your hand at shooting a bow and arrow – one of the oldest types of weapon. An experienced instructor will teach you how to select your target, draw your bow and take aim.
Archery lessons are available to everyone, regardless of age or physical ability.
The archery range operates throughout the summer season, during the same opening hours as the Memorial on Krasny Hill. In poor weather and throughout the winter season there is an indoor range.
